Everyone knows that professional CS:GO faced a mass exodus during the online era. Players were leaving in droves to play Valorant in an attempt to salvage their careers.
But amidst this sort of torrid, uncertain time for the king of shooters, where seasoned Strikers had no idea what was in their best interest, there was one household name who did commit to the switch.
Well, sort of.
You see, there’s a certain storied French professional whose experiences during the online era were a little different compared to the general confusion and uncertainty most faced.
I’m of course talking about Nathan “NBK-” Schmitt, the bearded beauty with sweet eyes who just might be the linchpin for French CS.
Despite being a decorated and accomplished two-time CS:GO Major winner, NBK- spent over 6 months of his life just streaming Valorant.
And then, seemingly out of nowhere, he came back to CS and underwent a staggering renaissance.
The question on everyone’s mind, of course, is how . . . and why was it cut short?
