CSGO unveils a million dollar prize pool for community designed skins, and how well did the 100 Thieves x Gucci collab actually sell?
CSGO has revealed their new Dreams and Nightmares $1,000,000 art contest. Starting July 22nd, you can create your own CSGO skin using your original artwork for a chance to be one of 10 people to win $100,000 and have their skin show up in a future case. The artwork has to be original, and based around the theme of Dreams and Nightmares, but other than that anyone has a chance to win big money and see their artwork show up in one of the most popular games of all time. The contest runs through October, so start working on those skins now!
And the 100 Thieves x Gucci collab has officially sold out. It didn’t sell out immediately, and there were only 200 of the infamous $2500 100 Thieves backpacks available, but they have all officially been sold. That means that Nadeshot and Gucci have sold a quarter million dollars of backpacks in about a day.
While a lot of 100 Thieves fans may have been upset with Nadeshot and Gucci for pricing them out of the collab or the unusual look of the backpack, but with 200 people picking one of the pricey backpacks up, it has to go down as a big success for the 100 Thieves brand.
