Why CS:GO’s Skin Economy is COLLAPSING? Here is why:
There are a lot of variables in this equation, but ultimately the China ban of cryptocurrencies, primarily Bitcoin mining, caused several high profile whales to dump several thousands of dollars into CS:GO. Resulting in skin prices rising to new highs.
Skin prices have historically risen significantly in the summer months only to drop later in August prior to a CSGO major tournament. This is just a larger scale pump and dump that happened to coincide with the crypto events happening in China.
What does this mean for you if you still have csgo skins in your inventory? I would recommend you hold on to your skins and weather the storm. If you have solid cs go skin investments then you should have no problem making continual profit in the months and years ahead.
